Two Thanksgivings!

This year (2011), since it was our first Thanksgiving without my GramaHope, we decided to liven things up a bit and have Thanksgiving in my Grandad's tiny apartment.  We thought it was a great opportunity to make some happy memories amidst the sadness we were all still feeling about losing her.  My Uncle Kurt and Aunt Connie brought in all the food, tables, and chairs, and really outdid themselves to make a memorable day.  Here we all are, packed in tight, but having a great time!  She would have LOVED this scene!

For the past 10 years, since my Mamma (my Dad's mother) passed away, we do Thanksgiving with that side of the family on the Saturday after.  So, once again, we packed up the car and drove to the hills of Eastern Kentucky for yet another meal!  I hadn't told most of the family up there about Baby M, so it was lots of fun getting to break the news to my cousins!  They were of course totally excited for us!  We didn't do a very good job of taking group pics up there, but here are a few cute ones of us and with my sister!
